As modern shoes and slippers became more popular, only a handful of workshops preserve the traditional process of making Carik shoes. All dying is done with locally sourced plant based dyes. Natural, less processed and extremely breathable. Vegetable tanned leather will mold to the shape of your feet, becoming only more comfortable as you wear them out! Machine washable at low temperatures and cycles. Hand washing is recommended. Item came way faster than expected from the other side of the world, and to be honest look and feel way better than I expected as well. They fit great and seem sturdy, I'm excited to break them in. I used to wear moccasins around the house and these feel even better. These also don't have the awful plastic feeling bottom that a lot of cheap slippers tend to have.
