These are really, really nice shoes/slippers! I have never owned Keen brand shoes so I read the reviews quite extensively before making my purchase. The one thing I noticed was that a lot of people said they run large. I'm glad I took that advice to size down...I wear a size 9 just about in every other shoe I own but bought these in a size 8.5 and they feel like they were custom made for my feet! Comfortable right out of the box, and though I never expect that these truly were. I put them on and haven't taken off yet today. The insole make every step very comfortable and the arch support seems just right for my foot. These seem really well made and sturdy. The backs are not as high as a regular shoe but not entirely missing, they cup your heel but don't slide off or flip/flop up and down with each step, very stable and secure when walking in them. The material makes me believe I will have these for quite a long time. Very happy with these!
