The slippers are firm but premolded into a foot shape so it feels comfortable to wear. If you put your hand in them you can feel the arch and the toe ridge. I only recent received them but they seem to be well made as well.Purchased these to wear around the house, wanted something that breathed to wear in the summer.It took awhile to get these shoes but so worth having a shoe that accommodates my high instep, wide foot.Expensive and worth every penny!Put them up and just loved them !I bought because I’ve been suffering with plantar fasciitis so hoping they will help.Ordered size 5, normally a 6, They come up big and wide 6 would be huge on me.They are great love the insole no problems with being too high which I had read.Look good, and feet are nice and warm and comfortable.Really pleased after spending hours deliberating if I should buy them, glad I did!A present for my husband and it is really difficult to buy footwear without trying... My husband wears 42 in smart shoes and 43 in trainers. Based on the fit recommendation I went for the smaller size and the sizing was good. The quality of the slippers is superb, gorgeous thick wool felt, exactly what I was expecting.However they do have a very high and solid arch support. If you don't have such high arches and they are not in the right place for you, they may turn out to be uncomfortable. My husband said they were OK, but not 'great, they are comfortable' :-(Hope they get used to each other after some use...Super-comfy, very supportive foot bed and thanks to the rubber sole I can also go outside with them. This is the second pair of Haflinger slippers I own and they are all wonderful. Warm and wonderful to slip into after a long day.I absolutely love these slippers! They do run large though, im a size 5 and these were to wide and big on me ordered 4.5 and fit perfectly. Super cosy and durable.These slippers looked promising, but despite being careful to order what would normally be the right size for me, they didn't fit. No problem returning them however, so don't let that put you off.
